Inspiring Girls Hong Kong Career fair 2025!

A moving career fair organised by Inspiring Girls on June 14, 2025 ,where we could meet with girls wishing to explore their potential. The fair connected students with role models, providing them with a deeper understanding of the business ecosystem and the opportunities within it.

The purpose of the career fair is to inspire younger generations

Our environment shapes who we are! It allows us to explore, dream and envision a future. Supporting and inspiring the girls with stories of role models gives them a new perspective and opens their minds to a new reality.

At a young age, it is challenging to choose a path; the fear of not being “enough”, being “wrong”, or not taking the right decision is real.
That’s why events like this are so powerful. By sharing personal stories of challenges, setbacks, and triumphs, role models helped dismantle doubts and open minds to new realities. It supports resilience and grit, giving a feeling of not being alone.

The truth is: “No one has it all figured out”. Hearing from professionals across industries, each with a unique life path, helps the girls realise that resilience and grit are universal.

They left with the comforting feeling that they are not alone in their journey.

Interactive activities to learn through experience

Girls earned stickers for participating in different activities, and in the end, they received a gift.

🔸 The library: A space for open discussions about dreams, ambitions, and future goals. Girls shared what they love and what they hoped to accomplish, guided by mentors who encouraged them to think they can do it and should trust themselves.

🔸 Resilience Workshop: a 45-minute session on perseverance and self-belief, helping them to reflect and accept difficulties as lessons to grow. The message was clear: Success is not about never failing, it’s about never giving up in challenging times.

What we should all remember is where we are coming from, what we have accomplished throughout the years, and all those wins we consider “small” make who we are.

Remember the people who believed in you, gave you the chance to grow when you had little experience. At some point in our lives, we all had someone who believed in us enough.

Shouldn’t we be the ones who believe in ourselves?

The Inspiring Girls association’s mission is essential to help the younger generation to align, believe in who they are and what they want. I wish, when I was young, to have had the chance to meet a role model outside of my family circle who could show me what is possible in life.

Too often, our environment becomes our truth and we limit ourselves to it.
