Zoomers : Are they revolutionizing the professional world ?
The word “meaningful” is a new hit for young professionals. We have to keep in mind that we are spending more than 40 hours per week at our workplace.
The workplace is demanding, there are objectives to reach, colleagues, clients and third parties to interact with. The environment in which we evolve is crucial. It can affect the mood, and so the efficiency of your team. There is more than just providing the right salary or comfortable office. Instead of focusing on harvesting whatever you can from your team and squeezing to the core your best employees, you should seriously start to listen to what the Millennials and Zoomers want.

This is good news, however, they expect flexibility, understanding, good benefits and meaningful missions. Some “old-school Frenchies” would identify them as lazy, deserters or too demanding.
We should question ourselves, are they really abusing or does the market have to change radically its vision and face the reality?
It seems this is the beginning of a new era. Zoomers, A generation that wants to bring awareness and care to its ecosystem and environment. Covid-19 pushed a new way of working, a new lifestyle and a new vision of the professional world and the importance of doing something meaningful for the world and community.

Giving flexibility and freedom creates a sense of being its own boss by fostering the concept of “intrapreneurial” and boosts productivity and self-worth.
